Spellflight

After a year of learning 3DS MAX in my spare time, I finally created this new rendition of the Vigilance (DSEV-1). DSEV stands for Deep Space Exploration Vessel. Here you can see the two Mars Excursion Vehicles (MEV) next to the tail fins, and the Reusable Airless Body Ballistic Intermodal Transport (RABBIT) carried on the underside. The warp projector ring has a glowing light in its center. Vigilance was built as a technology demonstrator to prove that Black Box Technology (BB Tech) actually works beyond the laboratory. BB Tech comes from the Ancient Astronauts, ancient humans that somehow learned how to leap for the stars. It all started in 2001 when satellites discovered footprints on the far side of the Moon that no space agency could lay claim to.
