This is the MK II Blue Gemini, first flown in 1994. It came about when the Air Force cancelled the YF-19A Saber after proving too costly to produce in significant numbers. Blue Gemini became successful as a taxi to service SpyGlass spy satellites in equitorial and polar orbits. A version of Blue Gemini made it to the Moon. Pilots called it the GINO for Gemini In Name Only. It only superficially resembled the 1960s Gemini spacecraft. I reworked Blue Gemini as I transitioned from trueSpace to 3DS MAX. The command module, engine, and refueling grapple all came from trueSpace, but the rest I rebuilt in MAX. Someday I may rebuild the command module as well since it doesn't look as good in MAX.
