When the Air Force cancelled their YF-19 Saberprogram, they fielded their backup plan in 1994:Blue Gemini, known as Big Gemini (Big G) whenin the employ of NAXA. Pilots called it the GINOfor Gemini In Name Only, and alternately the Pig.GINO served the Air Force for 20 years before retiring,only to be pulled out of retirement four years later andturned into a space fighter, the FS-1B Bronco. Whileworking for NAXA, Big G served as a crew taxi to ISSas well as the Moon until Shuttle II made its debut.
